Rules & Regulations
1. General Information

All selected films will automatically be considered for competition.

Our festival has no age limit, and we welcome festival-related films from all ages, backgrounds, and races.

Submissions are accepted exclusively through FilmFreeway.
2. Eligibility

To submit a film, you must have created the project yourself, own the rights, or have obtained permission from the rights holder to submit it to us.

We accept Canadian and International films (short and feature-length).

Short films: must not exceed 30 minutes in total runtime (including credits). There is no minimum length requirement.

Feature-length films: (over 30 minutes) are eligible for the Main Competition Section.

Non-English language films must include English subtitles.
3. Selection & Notification

Filmmakers will be notified of the selection results by July 20, 2026, via email.

All correspondence will be conducted by email; no information will be provided over the phone.
4. Materials Required Upon Selection
If your film is selected, you must provide the following:

High-resolution stills and a film poster

A short synopsis and full credits
-
A film trailer (if available)
-
Press or promotional materials upon request
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide individualized feedback to filmmakers.
Terms and Conditions

By submitting a film to the Festival, the filmmaker confirms that they own the rights or have secured all necessary permissions for its submission and public screening.

Selected filmmakers will receive an official notification by email.

The filmmaker retains all rights to their film. However, by submitting, the filmmaker grants the Festival a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Download and screen the film once during the official festival dates (after acceptance on FilmFreeway).

Use provided materials (stills, posters, trailers, and up to two minutes of footage) for promotional, archival, and documentation purposes.

The legal responsibility for the film remains entirely with the submitter. The Festival assumes no liability for copyright infringement or other legal issues related to the film.
